Description

Bridge design technicians conduct preliminary designs based on geological data from site surveys and traffic loads, then proceed to detailed designs using CAD and structural analysis software. They perform allowable stress calculations, seismic checks, durability evaluations, and create design drawings and specifications. They also coordinate with government agencies and clients, verify compliance with design standards, and provide technical support for maintenance, repair, and management plans.
