Description
Brick and tile production workers blend and knead raw materials such as clay, shape them by hand molding or extrusion molding machines, appropriately remove moisture using roller dryers or natural drying, and fire them at high temperatures in firing kilns such as tunnel kilns to manufacture bricks and tiles for construction. In the production line, they operate machines such as presses, extrusion molding machines, and roller dryers, and manage firing temperatures and firing times. After firing, they conduct quality inspections to check dimensional accuracy, strength, and color variations. In recent years, the introduction of automation equipment and quality control systems has advanced, making process management and maintenance skills important.
Future Outlook
Domestic demand is flat to gradually decreasing due to aging population and changes in construction demand. While labor-saving and automation advance, niche demand is expected for traditional methods and design tiles.
