Description
Blast furnace operators, at steelworks blast furnace facilities, manage the timing and quantity of raw material charging, monitor and adjust furnace temperature and pressure, analyze gas components, and safely and efficiently operate and maintain the iron melting and tapping process. When troubles or abnormalities occur, they quickly identify causes and take appropriate measures, and also engage in regular equipment inspections and maintenance work. Much of the work is in high-temperature and high-pressure environments, making safety management and team coordination important.
