Battery production engineers are responsible for process development and optimization, equipment selection and introduction, line startup, quality and yield improvement, and safety management in mass production processes for various batteries such as lithium-ion batteries. They utilize knowledge of material properties and electrochemical reactions to control production conditions while performing maintenance and upkeep of production equipment. They analyze manufacturing data to identify causes of process abnormalities and develop and implement improvement measures. Cross-departmental project execution, coordination with equipment vendors, and compliance with technical standards and specifications are also important roles.
