Description
The base paper machine operator (machine pouring) introduces a suspension (slurry) of pulp and chemicals into the paper machine, removes moisture on the mesh to accumulate fibers, dries and calenders them to produce base paper. During operation, adjusts speed, moisture content, and chemical addition amounts, performs quality inspections to maintain product specifications. Also responsible for machine inspections, daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety and health management.
