Aviation instrument production engineers are responsible for everything from technology development to actual production and quality control related to the manufacturing of highly precise instruments mounted on aircraft. They design production line processes, select jigs and tools, perform programming with CAD/CAM, conduct CNC machining, perform dimensional inspections using 3D measuring machines, assembly, adjustment, calibration, and final functional testing. While collaborating with production management, quality assurance, and design departments, they play the role of stably supplying products that require safety and high reliability.
