Description
Anodizing platers are responsible for immersing aluminum products in an electrolytic solution such as sulfuric acid and applying voltage to generate a uniform oxide film on the surface. They manage a series of processes from pre-treatment (degreasing and cleaning), electrolytic treatment, dyeing or sealing, inspection, to post-treatment. Operation of treatment tanks and power supplies, control of pH, temperature, and current density, film thickness measurement, quality inspection, management and storage of chemicals, and adherence to safety and health procedures are required.
Future Outlook
With the increasing demand for aluminum parts for automotive components and electronic devices, the demand for anodizing treatment is expected to remain stable. Acquisition of new technologies such as strengthened environmental regulations and chrome-free processes will be required.
