Description

Activated carbon production engineers handle the role of preprocessing diverse raw materials such as wood, coconut shells, and coal (crushing, drying, chemical impregnation), and optimizing high-temperature treatment in carbonization furnaces as well as steam activation and chemical activation processes to produce the product. They adjust operating conditions of the production line (temperature, pressure, residence time), conduct quality inspections such as specific surface area, strength, ash content, etc. of the product. In case of abnormalities, they perform troubleshooting, and promote production technology improvements including equipment maintenance, energy efficiency, and environmental measures.
